Moorgate station

Moorgate station is a London Underground and National Rail station in the City of London, on Moorgate, north of London Wall. At one time the station was named "Moorgate Street". It is the central London railway terminus for suburban First Capital Connect services from Hertford, Welwyn Garden City and Letchworth and was, until March 2009, a terminus for trains on the Thameslink line, also run by First Capital Connect. It is the site of the Moorgate tube crash of 1975 in which 46 people were killed and 74 were injured.[3]

St Mary Moorfields

The church is affiliated with the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Ramblers ([1]). It is also the venue for monthly meetings of Opus Dei[1].

CityPoint

It is currently the fifth tallest building in the City, after Heron Tower, Tower 42, 30 St Mary Axe, and the Broadgate Tower, but only the thirteenth tallest in Greater London.

30 St Mary Axe

On the building's top level (the 40th floor), there is a bar for tenants and their guests featuring a 360° view of London. A restaurant operates on the 39th floor, and private dining rooms on the 38th.[17] Whereas most buildings have extensive lift equipment on the roof of the building, this was not possible for the Gherkin, since a bar had been planned for the 40th floor. The architects dealt with this by having the main lift only reach the 34th floor, and then having a push-from-below lift to the 39th floor. There is a marble stairwell and a disabled persons' lift which leads the visitor up to the bar in the dome.
