Tips on How to Do an Environment Friendly Move
Published on Friday, 15 October 2010

Tips on How to Do an Environment Friendly Move When using recycled packing materials, you don't only save money but the environment as well. That is why it is not only you who benefit from such practice but everyone in this planet too. You can begin by using secondhand boxes which are very much available in the market. You can buy secondhand boxes online or from your removals company. But if you want to save, you can also ask for sturdy boxes from groceries. There are also free used moving boxes online. There are also some drop off locations for used boxes. Aside from boxes you can also old newsprints as cushion to some items. As long as the items are not delicate or they don't easily stain, newsprints would do just fine. There are even used bubble wrap and plastic wraps as well. As long as you can see the integrity of the packing materials then this is a viable way to pack your things.
On your part, you could also sell or give away your used moving materials. By doing so you allow the materials to be used a couple of times more. More natural resources would even be saved. You can do so by participating in a buy back scheme. Or you could simply donate them to community centers or to websites that offer free or secondhand packing materials for sale.
