Harringay Arena

The Arena was well known as a venue for circuses. It was home to Tom Arnold's annual Harringay Circus for 10 seasons from Christmas 1947 to Christmas 1957. The almshouse (a home for gentleman pensioners) still occupies the site today under the name Sutton's Hospital in Charterhouse.
